Exclusions & Liability

All warranties herein exclude any items that are installed incorrectly, misused, neglected, altered, or abused. Any damages, failures, or defective items are subject to the discretion of Seva Products. Failure to follow instructional documents or manuals will void all warranties.

Seva Products shall have no liability whatsoever in any event for payment of incidental or consequential costs, including, without limitation, installation costs and damages for personal injury or property.

All individuals or companies using Seva Productsu2019 products are required to follow all national, state, and local government laws and guidelines relating to the installation, use, and disposal of products.

Seva Products reserves the right to examine all products and reserves the right to be the sole judge as to whether any product is defective and covered under warranty. All warranties are manufacturer warranties for the relevant items and are not warranties of Seva Products.

Damaged Items

Any item(s) received damaged due to shipping must be reported to Seva Products within 7 business days of receiving the package. Please inspect the package(s) upon receipt to ensure all parts are included and no damage is present.

If you encounter damage or missing parts, please contact Seva Products at (513) 507-0058 to request a Damage Call Tag (DCT). Once a DCT has been issued, the item must be returned to the shipping company in the original packaging.

If no DCT is issued, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number may be issued for return of the product to Seva Products for inspection of damages. Once received, if damage is found to be caused by shipping or improper packing, a replacement will be sent free of charge.

Defective Items

Any items found to be defective within the warranty period must be returned to Seva Products in the original packaging for evaluation.

In the event of a return of a defective item(s), an RMA number must be obtained by contacting Seva Products at (513) 507-0058 or by email at [email protected].

The buyer is responsible for the shipping of the defective item to Seva Products. If the product is found to be defective, a replacement product will be issued at no charge.

Returns

A customer may return an item for any reason within the first 30 days of receiving it by contacting Seva Products to obtain an RMA number.

An RMA can be obtained by calling Seva Products at (513) 507-0058 or by emailing [email protected]. An RMA must be obtained within 30 days of receiving the product.

The customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to Seva Products.

The following items have NO RETURN POLICY:

Special Orders

A special order is defined as any non-inventory item or group of items that was ordered expressly and uniquely for a specific customer. Any item from our product list can fall under the definition of a special order.

Custom Cuts

Any item that is considered a custom cut, a sample, or that has been cut or sized by Seva Products specifically for that customeru2019s unique requirements and specifications.

Clearance, Closeout, and Overstock Items

Any item that is sold as a partial product, open box, used, or other than new.

All returns are subject to approval and the refund policy stated below.

Refunds

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee and must be returned in like-new condition within 30 days of receiving the product.

An RMA must be obtained by calling Seva Products directly at (513) 507-0058 for any items returned for a refund.

Product Warranty

Below you will find product-specific warranty information, as well as general warranties that cover all Seva Productsu2019 products. Normally, all products carry either a 3-year warranty or a 5-year warranty.

Any misuse, improper installation, or damage will immediately void the warranty.

Damage caused by wind, flood, earthquake, storms including lightning, water, or any other act of nature will not be covered under warranty.

Power surge damage is not covered under warranty.

Use of unapproved replacement parts, connections, or unauthorized service will void the warranty.

Failure to follow instructional documents or manuals will void all warranties.

Damage caused by improper voltage input or physical damage from misuse or improper installation will void the warranty.

Warranty is valid for the original purchaser as defined on the invoice.

Warranty is non-transferable.

Warranty is subject to change without notice.

The Seva Products Warranty shall be the sole remedy of the customer and the sole liability of Seva Products to the customer. Seva Products does not imply any statutory warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

In no event shall Seva Products, including its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents, be liable for any claims asserting or based on:

Loss of facility

Loss of equipment or cost of substitute property

Loss of revenue or cost of capital

Loss of business, profit, or property value

Downtime costs or claimantu2019s customers

Loss of goodwill

In no event shall Seva Products, including its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents, be held liable for any damages, injury, or loss of life due to the installation or use of any Seva Products products.

LED Fixtures

All LED light fixtures with UL/DLC certification carry a 5-year warranty for replacement of parts or the whole fixture. If a fixture has a bad driver, a new driver will be furnished under warranty. If the LED chip fails, a whole new fixture will be replaced with the same or similar design/performance.

All light fixtures with Energy Star certification carry a warranty of 3 years or the hours specified on each package. During the specified period, the fixture carries a full replacement warranty.

All fixtures with only UL certification carry a 3-year full replacement warranty on parts or fixtures.

Labor costs to replace or repair fixtures are not covered under warranty.

LED Light Bulbs

All light bulbs carry a 3-year or 25,000-hour life warranty for replacement. Replacement will be done with the same or similar bulbs/fixtures at the time of replacement.

LED Gas Price Signs

LED gas price signs are warrantied for 5 years for replacement parts and materials. There is no warranty on the cost to replace parts. Remote, cable, and batteries are subject to verification before replacement is provided.

LED Rope Lights

LED rope lights carry a 30-day manufactureru2019s warranty for non-working sections and the included accessories. For section failures, replacement section(s) will be sent out along with invisible splice kit(s) free of charge for the end user to make repairs. If, during troubleshooting with a Seva Products representative, the entire product is found to be defective or 30% or more is not working, an RMA number may be issued for further testing to determine the cause. If the product is found defective, a replacement will be sent free of charge.

After 30 days, LED rope lights will carry a 2-year limited warranty on non-working sections. During this time, any failed section(s) will be covered by free replacement section(s) and invisible splice kit(s) for repair by the end user. In the event of a failure that includes 30% or more, special consideration, at the sole discretion of Seva Products, may be made for replacing the entire spool(s) only upon the return and testing of the product(s) by Seva Products.

LED Strip Lights and Modules/Drivers

LED Strip Lights and Modules/Drivers carry a 30-day manufactureru2019s warranty for non-working sections and the included accessories. For section failures, replacement section(s) will be sent out along with solder-less splices free of charge for the end user to make repairs. If, during troubleshooting with a Seva Products representative, the product is found to be defective or 30% or more is not working, an RMA number may be issued for further testing to determine the cause. If the product is found defective, a replacement will be sent free of charge.

After 30 days, LED Strip Lights and Modules/Drivers carry a 2-year limited warranty on non-working sections. During this time, any failed section(s) will be covered by free replacement section(s) and solder-less splices for repair by the end user. In the event of a failure that includes 30% or more, special consideration, at the sole discretion of Seva Products, may be made for replacing the entire spool(s) only upon the return and testing of the product(s) by Seva Products.

LED Sign Tubes

Seva Products warrants to the original purchaser of our LED Sign Tubes that the product will be free of defects in material and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of purchase. The warranty will expire five years from the purchase date.

LED Displays

Seva Products warrants to the original purchaser of our LED Displays that the product will be free of defects in material and workmanship for three (3) years from the date of purchase. The warranty will expire three years from the date of purchase.

Incorporation of accessories, attachments, mounting accessories, software, mounting structure, conduit, wiring, trenching, or any accessories not provided with Display Screens, or any exceptional causes, will not be covered under warranty.

Power surge damage is not covered under warranty.

Use of unapproved replacement parts, connections, or unauthorized service will void the warranty.

Failure to follow instructional documents or manuals will void all warranties.

Damage caused by improper voltage input or physical damage from misuse or improper installation will void the warranty.

Display Screen cabinet color fading or LED degradation from outdoor exposure is not covered under warranty.

Use of a surge protector is highly recommended.
